Payments

• We deliver cars at Funchal Airport at pre-notified flight arrival times. For bookings less than 7 days, a tax of Euros 15,00 will be charged.
• For bookings of 7 or more days, no airport tax will be charged, except for deliveries and/or redeliveries between 22H00 and 06H59. For these bookings we will charge a night delivery tax of Euros 15,00 per rental.
• We deliver the cars at the Hotels, appartments, Villas in Funchal, Garajau, Caniço free of charge, on the normal office opening hours (09H00 till 18H29). For deliveries at these hotels between 18H30 and 08H30, a tax of Euros 15,00 will be charged.
• For any other area (Santa Cruz, Machico, Caniçal - Quinta do Lorde -, Cabo Girão, Jardim da Serra, Eira do Serrado), we apply a delivery tax of Euros 15,00. A tax of Euros 20,00 will be applied for the other locations (Ribeira Brava, Ponta do Sol, Calheta, Paul do Mar, Prazeres, Fajã da Ovelha, Porto Moniz, São Vicente, Ponta Delgada - Monte Mar -, Santana, Porto da Cruz, etc). For these locations, the deliveries are done between 09H00 and 18H30.
• When you make the booking at our website, please do not forget to choose first the location where car must be delivered. After that you can insert the hotel or adress. Following these steps, the website will calculate the delivery tax too.
• At the hotels, we will meet you at the reception.
• Reservations must be received no less than 48 hours in advance of your arrival time to guarantee a confirmed booking.
• When completing our reservations form, please do not forget to register your correct E-mail address in the field. Without your correct mail adress, we cannot reply to you.
• We will ask a 20% prepayment by debit card or credit card via Paypal after we send you the confirmation by email. After receiving this prepayment, you will receive a mail from Paypal - its the proof that the payment was made and that your booking is reconfirmed.
• If you do not have a Paypal account, please let us know. We have always a solution for that.
• No refund is done for the Paypal prepayment in case of the cancellation of the booking in less than 48 hours.

Airport Service

• To make a reservation we must have your flight number and flight arrival time in Funchal Airport.
• We will be waiting for you at the arrival hall with a sign with your name on it.
• Our representative will assist you to sign the contract and payment procedures at the airport! (Please note that payment can be done in CASH or by credit card).
• Please ensure that you have with you the ID Card or passport and a valid driver's license (must be at least 1 year driving experience).

Rental conditions

• Minimum rental age: 21 years. Driver licence must be at least 1 year old. Maximum 80 years old.
• All prices are calculated according to the car category, choosen dates and number of days.
• Rates and VAT are subject to change without previous notice.
• General conditions shall apply.

What prices include and what is not included:

• Super CDW (full Coverage) included - that means that our clients do not have to pay any extra for the insurance. It covers the damages in case of accident.
• In case of accident you must contact always our supplier - please check his number on the signed contract at car pick up. He will explain how to proceed on these situations.
  This insurance never covers cases of driver's NEGLIGENCE (driving under alchool effects, tyres, wheels, mirrors, car underbody, car inside, driving in unappropriate roads, lost keys and/or documentation, fines, personal objects, etc.) We always recommend a responsible driving.
• For tyres, wheels and mirrors, you can always purchase, at car pick up, an extra insurance - Euros 5,00 per day.
• For vans (7 seats or 9 seats cars), since they are bigger cars, we have an excess of 800.00 euros, which will be refunded at the end of the car rental period, if nothing happens to the car by your fault. You always can ask our supplier, at car pick up, the prossiblity to have a special insurance to avoid this deposit.
• Theft protection and unlimited kilometres. VAT - All local taxes - Included
• Personal Accident Insurance is included in the price.
• Airport tax is free for rentals for 7 days or more. Night delivery/redelivery tax (between 22H00 and 06H59) - Euros 15,00. For rentings less then a week the airport tax is 15,00 euros per rental.
• Additional drivers for your vehicle can be added to your rental contract for 11,50 € per rental, subject to provision of relevant driver's license and age - restrictions.
• GPS is provided on request for only 10,00 € per day with a maximum of value of 70 € / rental.
• Baby seat / child seat / booster seat are provided on request for only 7.50, 4.00 and 2.00 euros per day, respectively.
• Petrol is not included. Car should be returned with the same petrol level as received.
